For the love of shoes.

I must say good shoes are my weakness. They can make and break an outfit. Like a lot of people I'm not always 100% with shoes, especially for shoes where it is all hills and no heels allowed anyway but here is a little wish list that I've made. Enjoy!

Tan Wedges

Sorry for such a long break! School started and I've been super busy, I apologise for not posting and I'll try to more often.
This post is mainly to say I got these gorgeous tan wedges which I've wanted for ages! They actually sent me the wrong size so they're a bit loose. If I want them replaced for my size I would have to wait another two months which I thought was a little ridiculous :P

I've also started becoming interested in taking a make up course so I began practising just in case I get in. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance :)

Coca Cola Summer Break

 

 

 

 

Last weekend Coca Cola threw a 'Summer Break' party at the local beach where they gave away tons of free coke (a little disappointing for me as I am allergic to it) but there was also free ice cream, body painting, local teen magazines having competitions, a DJ, giving away free jandals etc. It was a great weekend.

Not much clothing wise to show you as I've spent the past month pretty much in swimwear but I've done some shopping and pictures will be up asap.

Summer BBQ

I know Summer and BBQ's are meant to go together but it just doesn't feel right for me. Heat mixed with heat makes me want to go dive in the snow naked. We decided to go to the beach afterwards, even at 7pm the beach was packed, sun was shining and the heat was blazing.

Big 20 Eleven

Due to the lazy minds of my friends and I, NYE was planned an hour before the party started. Decided I'd start 2011 simple with a Scrapbook in Wild Pair strapless black tutu dress, Noir heels, Karen Walker Runaway Girl pendant and a vintage ring given by a dear friend.

New Years decisions

It is 3.30pm New Years Eve. I haven't decided what I'm wearing/my make up, let alone what I am even doing for New Years! So here's where you guys come in. I have two LBD's and I can't decide which to wear. I wore one to a Lady Gaga concert and another in a music video.

I like both of these make up tutorials (thanks Michelle Phan) Which do you prefer?

I can't decide between these two dresses. My sister has the tutu dress at the moment so I couldn't take a photo of it so thanks, Aimee for the photo of the dress off her lookbook!

Obviously I'm having a hard choice deciding make up and dresses, I'd love your opinions! Feel free to suggest other make up ideas, I'm pretty useless at make up and the make up I do usually, never shows up in photos :P Oh well. Help me!

Pedicure

Each Christmas my Auntie takes my sister and I for a pedicure and then Christmas shopping. This is what mine turned out like :) I actually wanted the background to be white and the flower to be blue but hey, can't change it now :)
Right now I'm going off to put up the Christmas tree, yeah I left it until the last minute, but I haven't been living at home for a bit so I'm blaming my family :P I hope it'll be a suprise for when they come back!

Christmas In The Park

The other night my friends and I went to a New Zealand event called Christmas in the Park. It's an outdoor concert with lots of events. It was a good night :) I don't have any photos of it right now as my friend who took the photos left the next day to fly back to Chile after her 6 month stay in NZ.

Anyway, at the moment I'm trying my best to save up for the Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots. They're so gorgeous and ever since I saw them on Rumi here  I've been in love. Infact, I'm in love with all of his shoes. Please tell me I'm not the only one!

In the process of moving

I'm in the process of boxing up my belongings and moving out of home. I've been living at my boyfriends in the past time and looking for places I can live in. I swear I didn't have that much stuff until I had 9 fully packed boxes and that isn't even half my stuff. Anyway, here are some photos I've been loving lately, enjoy :)

Model of the Moment

I have to say, this girl is gorgeous! Laura is a New Zealand model and she was featured on many of the NZFW runways (there is a picture of her third down in this post ). She has been featured in many teen magazines photo shoots and is now the face of the New Zealand brand, Principals.
